NY Times registration is pretty straightforward!
Here’s what you get with your free NYTimes subscription:
Full access (same as a paid subscriber) to NY Times.
Full access on their phone app, which you can download for free.
No limit on the number of licenses as long as we follow the rules (see below).
Here’s what you don’t get:
Access to the NY Times crossword puzzle.
Access to the e-reader version of the NYT for Kindle and iPad.
Here’s what’s important to remember:
Use your school email to sign up! For teachers/staff this is the @bhusd.org email; for students it’s the @bhusd.com email.
Sign up ONLY at school and verify your account ONLY at school so the companies can authenticate you by IP address.
AFTER you’re registered and authenticated at school, you can access your account off-campus on your phone or home computer etc.

NEW YORK TIMES REGISTRATION
There are just a few steps:
1. Go to nytimes.com/grouppass .
2. Create an NYTimes.com account using your school email address. If you already have an NYTimes.com account using your school email address, please log in with those credentials. To reset your password, just visit nytimes.com/forgot .
3. When you see START YOUR ACCESS, the expiration time and date of your pass will appear.
4. Go to NYTimes.com and enjoy your access from any location. Now you can enjoy seamless access to NYTimes.com and NYT mobile apps from any location, on or off your school’s campus, just by logging into your NYTimes.com account. You may download NYTimes mobile apps at nytimes.com/mobile .

Los Angeles Times is no longer available for free except to LAUSD Schools.
